The University of Johannesburg Online Application 2021/2022 is ongoing.
The management of the University of Johannesburg (UJ) is inviting applications for interested and suitably qualified students (Local and International) for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2021/2022 academic year.
How to Apply to the University of Johannesburg
The University of Johannesburg (UJ) 2021/2022 application can be done in either of two ways: hardcopy or online.
NOTE: Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible in the application cycle. Application opens on 1st April and closes on the 30th of September for undergraduate programmes.
University of Johannesburg Online Application;
You may apply online. In order to apply online you will need a working email address and a functional cell phone number, or, if you are an international applicant, your passport number.
- Certified and individually scanned documents if completed Grade 12. Document upload requirements when applying online (not applicable to applicants currently in grade 12 or internal transfer/Senior applicants):
- All documents must be certified When uploading documents, ensure that the scanned file is a maximum of 512KB, and that all documents are scanned in any of the following types – tiff, pdf, jpg, or gif
- Each document must be scanned and uploaded as separate attachments
- Alternatively, documents can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org with the provisional reference/student number noted in the subject line of the email.
Once you’ve completed the online application, you don’t need to send a hardcopy application. Hardcopy application is available on campus for those who don’t have access to an internet connection.

The University of Johannesburg paper application forms are available on campus. However, there are two different application forms; one for undergraduate applicants and the other for postgraduates.
Ensure all relevant supporting documents are attached before sending off your application form. There is non – refundable Application Fee of R200.00 (only hardcopy application) for the University of Johannesburg admissions.
